Pat's: Next cheesesteak in 2017 (approx.) Jim's: Next cheesesteak in 2015 Remember, all cheesesteaks ordered within Philadelphia, including the Northeast,  will be served with Cheez Wiz and fried onions, plus hot peppers or hot sauce, according to local custom.  Steaks ordered in the suburbs will be served with fried onions, hot peppers, and bacon, with the cheese left up to the house.
